It's the same old mysterious forum for hanging out that creates vibes and vibrates emotion. The burger joints or tea points where friends used to meet are gone and malls are now banning teenagers who aren't with adults. This is the sort of place they are going instead: Chat Rooms! You don't have to be old or young…there's no age bar…there's no gender war…still, if you choose to be a girl,

Experience counts! Twelve years ago, I was into chat rooms a big time. I remembered it so well because I was one of the very few people to start using it at that time. I met lot of friends in these chat rooms and even met many in real life. Have heard lots of stories, some were good and some were sad. Now I am grown and old. Sometimes, when I need to go back to my young-hood, I normally enter my favorite old chat room in Yahoo, Calcutta Global 2. My relationship with this room is more than half a decade old. Most of the other active members do keep coming here to hang out.

This room is more like a family for me. Even after a hectic working day in USA or UK…I run to this room to meet very familiar voices. This post is tribute to gr8 people under mask names (I haven't seen them face to face)

Deeli : She is the Kajol Bhai (of Hum Panch fame)…Everyone luves her and calls her Didi…She never talks to me

Cap_small: His name is Raju…fantastic singer…plays majestic guitar…both Acoustic & Plain. Amazing person. Doesn't know Bengali…but sings perfectly. I luved his song last Sunday on guitar.

Guitar_Kaushik: More of Cap_small but he is a Bengali. Everyone loves him. He is also a moderator.

Bandrachndra: He is the Don. Maal pite rahte hain. Bahat Bhari Gala…but he has a command. Everyone respects him. He also sometimes get angry!

Khastha: Another old chap…he laughs, claps and dances!

Heart_desire: Sings amazingly.

Pathsaala: Another old chap…he laughs, claps and dances…sabka leta he…

Romabtic: What a voice…She is the best singer in the room. Sings Gazhals and Bangla songs.

Jhalmoori (A tasty popped rice mix with Indian species). He is the King in room. Now days he doesn't come often but sings amazingly.

___King___: I think he is jhalmoori…but not sure. Both voices seems same.

Saurav Tendulkar: He is both…never heard his voice but laughs, claps & dances J

And many more…There are self acclaimed moderators here who monitor chat room discipline. If someone crosses the line…there they are…They gift "Iggy".. People from all part of the world join here for discussion, songs, kidding, jokes and all for fun...masti but no stalking or typical puppy love kinda madness.
